Welcome to Blue Crest Riding Academy! We teach children (3+) and adults to ride beautiful American Saddlebreds in the classic Saddleseat style. We are conveniently located between Hoover and Chelsea, AL on a beautiful 440 acre farm. We offer a variety of activities all year long including: Lessons, Camps, Birthday Parties and Horse Shows.
Why Blue Crest Riding Academy? We offer a fun, safe & positive atmosphere. Ashley Taylor, the owner and instructor has over 15 years training & experience riding American Saddlebreds in the Saddleseat style. She has been teaching for over five years. Ashley has won many State Championships & has even competed at the World Championship. She is currently working on getting her ARIA certification and once completed she will be the only certified Saddleseat instructor in Alabama. We truly enjoy teaching everyone & can guarntee a fun time in a safe environment.
You do not have to own a horse to ride! Blue Crest Riding Academy has many horses we use in our riding program & we prefer you to ride one of our well trained, beautiful American Saddlebreds! We have a horse suitable for any level rider and almost any size (up to 250 lbs).
